Finance Minister, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson has said the 2025 Budget will reflect the desires and aspirations of Ghanaians.
Presenting the 2025 Budget under the theme: “Resetting the Economy for Ghana we want” to Parliament on Tuesday, the finance minister noted that the preparation of the budget factored in concerns from key stakeholders at the National Economic Dialogue.

“This budget was preceded by the National Economic Dialogue on the theme: Resetting Ghana; Building the Economy we want on March 3 and 4. Through this consensus-building dialogue the people demanded real solutions to the challenges that plagues us as a country.
“Mr. Speaker the 2025 Budget is a culmination of the true aspirations, needs genuine desires of the people of Ghana expressed through the engagement with diverse stakeholders,” he said.
As part of our broad consultations ahead of the budget, the Minister said government engaged traders at major trading centers including the Makola market to listen to their concerns and draft policies that will address the economic hardships.
