General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Fifi Fiavi Kwetey has said the 2025 Budget Statement and Economic Policy will contain policies to stabilize the country’s economy.
Speaking to TV3 ahead of the Budget presentation on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, Fifi Kwetey noted that the NDC government is prepared to undertake realistic policies to ease the hardships faced by Ghanaians.

He said President Mahama is committed to bring about sustainable development of the country for Ghanaians to appreciate that the NDC government is better than the previous NPP administration.
“The most important thing to remember at all moment is that governance is not just about hype, it is not simply about the kind of things you do to get applause, it is what you do that will bring about sustainable development of your country.
“I’m sure we will be seeing the beginning of that, policies that will start bringing us back to a place of stability in other to allow us that in the next four years we can develop this country in a way that Ghanaians will know clearly that there is a much better government in place,” he stated.
Also, the Acting Managing Director of Precious Minerals Marketing Company, Sammy Gyamfi is confident that the 2025 Budget to be presented by the finance minister will meet the needs of Ghanaians.
Speaking in an interview with TV3 on Tuesday ahead of the Budget presentation, he said President Mahama will fulfil his promises to Ghanaians in the Budget.
“We are not going to have any difficulties keeping faith with the people of this country, the change we voted for is here. The hope the people of this country needs is here,” he said
Sammy Gyamfi is optimistic that the budget will resolve “unemployment, ease the economic hardships, create prosperity for all and respect the social contract by the NDC.”
He urged Ghanaians to be prepared for a budget that will provide long-term solutions and help Ghana attains its potentials as a country.
“Brace yourselves for far-reaching policies in this budget to help us create prosperity and reach our potentials as a country,” he added.
