Commander-In-Chief of Economic Fighters League, Ernesto Yeboah has traded a media conversation in which he expected Parliament to invite chairperson of the Electoral Commission(EC), Jane Mensa to provide answers to why online applicants of the ongoing voter exhibition pay to verify their names in the electoral register. His prayer follows a production by MBN TV in its coverage of the nationwide exercise.
In an attempt to demonstrate how to verify one’s name in the register, hosts of MBN TV’s morning show named Ghana Nkomo, Maame Yaa Afrah Antwi Bosiako and Oman Nana realized that applicants are charged GHC0.50p to get the information. They subsequently called the activist who has one of his popularities as “Drop that Chamber”.

It would be recalled that Parliament of Ghana made public to consider a modernize house for sitting. The move shoved a chunk of citizens into diverse discussion. From nowhere, Ernesto boldly appears at the House while sitting was in session screaming, Drop that Chamber.” He immediately went viral the more since he would not stop but still chant “Drop that Chamber” even in the hands of the security.
This time around, Mr. Yeboah used the platform offered him to alert fellow citizens not to consider GHC0.50p to be worthy for nothing. Although some have told MBN TV that to forego all that it takes to get to an exhibition centre for GHC0.50p is normal, the fighter drew the attention to how much the amount multiplied by the number of subscribers nationwide would sum up? He continued “where does that amount of money go? The state has pre-financed the commission so why the charges?”
