During his two-day tour of the Ahafo region, Bawumia told residents of Duayaw Nkwanta that the NPP will prioritize developing the country, just as they have done in the past eight years.
He expressed confidence in the NPP’s chances, stating that the NDC’s insults are a sign of their impending loss ¹. Bawumia emphasized that his campaign will concentrate on developmental projects, citing the poor road conditions from Tepa to Duayaw Nkwanta and promising to fix them if elected President. He also pledged to construct a district hospital at Dormaa.
Dr. Gideon Boako, the parliamentary candidate for Tano North, assured Bawumia that the constituency would make history in the 2024 elections, urging residents to vote massively for Bawumia ¹. This comes as recent polls show a close contest between Bawumia and John Mahama, the NDC candidate, with some polls indicating a slight lead for Mahama ².

Later, in Dormaa, the hometown of Dr. Boako, who is vying to succeed Freda Prempeh as a Member of Parliament, Dr. Bawumia expressed confidence in the NPP’s chances for the December 7 elections.
“The NDC sensing that they’re losing the election have resortedto insults, they have been insulting us. I believe you have heard some of the insults. We will not pay attention to them, we are confident of winning the elections. We will win the elections because of our good work.
“We’re focused on embarking on developmental projects for all communities, we have developed the country. I know your concern is the road, the road from Tepa to Duayaw Nkwanta is bad. I want you to commit all the roads in my hands, I will fix the roads when I become President. I will also construct a district hospital at Dormaa.” Meanwhile, Dr Gideon Boako, parliamentary candidate for Tano North assured Dr. Bawumia that the Tano North constituency would make history in the 2024 elections.
“Whatever the NDC will do, even if they eat bags of salt, I will win the seat, nothing will change, because I know you have accepted me and I also love you. We will continue to serve. I will continue the good work of my predecessors, and we plead for your support. I’m pleading with you to vote massively for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.”
