A brazen daylight robbery has shaken residents of Adabraka, within the Korle Klottey Municipality, leaving many demanding increased police presence.
Eyewitness Accounts
In an exclusive interview with MBN TV, Mary, a food vendor, recounted the harrowing experience. “The armed robbers pointed a gun at me and ordered me to run. I fell and twisted my leg while trying to escape.”
Other witnesses described the chaos:
- Gunmen fired shots to disperse the crowd
- Stolen cash scattered as one of the bags opened
- Onlookers scrambled to pick up fallen money
- Gunmen fled, leaving behind a shoe and face towel
Second Robbery in Three Months
The jewellery shop owner, visibly shaken, expressed shock, revealing this was the second robbery at his business within three months.
Police Response
The Head of Intelligence from the Ghana Police Service and other commanders arrived at the scene to initiate investigations.
