The sad story of a twin is reported at Morkwa, a village within the Twifo Atimorkwa district of the Central region. Narrating the occurrence with MBN TV, eyewitness Addae said it’s likely that one of young siblings fell in the pit full of water at the gallamsey site and the followed suit thinking the other’s entry was routine in their playing adventures.
This happened at the blindside of their mother with whom her wards, Atsu and Atsupe accompanied to pay visit to their grandparents at a Hamlet near Morkwa.

Giving the bereaved father’s name as Ebenezer, Addae again said with worry that the family lost the senior brother of the drowned twins a few years ago. He could not tell the cause of that death though.
He worryingly revealed, saying, a boy also drowned to death in the area earlier this year.
