Cassius Larbie, the Awutu Senya West constituency NDC communications officer and the other two party members who were remanded by the law court for tempering with New Patriotic Party(NPP) stickers on DRIP machines have finally been granted bail.
Cassius and the others were said to have unlawfully remove the stickers bearing image of NPP’s parliamentary candidate for the area, Eugene Kofi Bentum Arhin and H. E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, flag bearer for the NPP from DRIP machines hence their arrest.
On Thursday, 12th September, the district court denied the accuse persons bail. A denial that did not sit well with Member of Parliament for the area, Madam Gizella Tetteh Abgotui and the embodiment of the NDC. She addressed the media and condemned the arrests and denial of bail application.
