Generally Mosquito channeled this message when he took his turn to address a gathering of party followers in Tamale to formerly launch its 2024 election campaign. He revealed that previous presidents i.e Jerry John Rawlings, John Agyekum Kuffour, John Evans Fiifi Atta Mills and John Dramani Mahama (JDM) did this during their tenure of office at least a year before general elections.

With some four months the 2024 edition of the national elections, Mr. Asiedu Nketia in what he said was a letter to the president urged the president to do same and prepare to live by it.

The outspoken chairman also had a message for other notable institutions/individuals.
Council of State & National Peace Council:
He asked this institution to stand up in discharging their mandate of advisers to the president. β€œThe country is in crisis” he cried.

Inspector Genera of Police and all other security heads:
He told the IGP, Chief of Defense Staff and all other security heads to be mindful of the oath they sworn to protect the interest of the people and work accordingly before, during and beyond the elections.
He cautioned them about the dangers of an attempt to operate in the interest of others instead of all.

National House of Chiefs:
To chiefs and traditional leaders to remain non-partisan so they can help call any politician to order should the need be.
General Mosquito did not leave the clergy out either.
