The Accra Youth for Mahama, a vibrant youth-base election campaign machinery, has promised a seventy percent(70%) plus vote for National Democratic Congress(NDC) to enable it secure an undoubting victory in the December 7 general elections. The group, made up of energetic men and women showed up in their numbers during a walk for community engagement and mini rally in the Madina constituency by Hon. Francis Xavier Soau. The renowned human rights lawyer is the incumbent and is seeking re-election.
Addressing the gathering at the forecourt of the Pantang Psychiatric Hospital, leader of the group, Richard Yankey noted a lot are those who continue to find difficulty with proper voting to safeguard spoilt ballots. “Accra Youth for Mahama owes it a duty to coach such folks, this time around not only on proper voting, but for H. E. John Dramani Mahama and all NDC parliamentary candidates for resounding victory”, he stressed.
His deputy, Positive Change, said the 70% is the least they can promise; the real target go beyond 80%.

At the moment, Accra Youth for Mahama is on touring the various constituencies to engage prospective voters who’ll strategically cast ballot for the umbrella family. It believes the NDC has always had the youth at heart each time it rules. That wise, Mr. Yankey’s team is poised to do anything right to ensure JDM reclaim the seat with NDC majority in parliament.
