The Greater Accra secretariat of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council(GPCC), has intended to stage demonstration to call for the passage of Promotion of Human Sexual Rights and Family Values Bill of 2021 into law.
In a statement, the secretariat extended a wider invitation to well meaning citizens to join the march in comparing the president, H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to ascent to the bill.
It would be recalled that the president repeatedly warned that the bill should not be sent to his office after parliament had accepted and passed the document. This generated series of reaction among the good people of the Republic and had since been on the silence. Lo and behold, the likes of GPCC held the matter in its file.
The planned clergy protest come at a time that countless number of groupings wage war against illegal mining popularly referred to as gallamsey in Ghana.
