The Chief Executive Officer of Engineers & Planners Ltd and Dzata Cement Ltd, Mr. Ibrahim Mahama, has donated a brand-new 35-seater bus to his alma mater, Tamale Senior High School (TAMASCO). The donation was made on Friday, November 22, 2024, during a student durbar at the school premises in Tamale.
The bus was presented on behalf of Mr. Mahama by his Special Aide, Rafik Mahama, with the Old Tamascan Association in full attendance.
Speaking on behalf of Mr. Mahama, Rafik Mahama said:
βMr. Ibrahim Mahama wants lives to be better for students on campus and the vulnerable or less privileged in society. He sent me from Accra to present the bus to the NSMQ team and the student population at large. He hoped this gesture would mitigate part of the transportation challenges on campus and inspire students to study hard as they aspire to be great people in society.β
The Headmaster of TAMASCO received the bus on behalf of the school and expressed deep gratitude for the continued support from Mr. Ibrahim Mahama.
βThis is a very good gesture, and it will help ease a large part of the transport challenges the school encounters, especially for the NSMQ team. Mr. Ibrahim Mahama has also been constructing a 1200-bed ultramodern dormitory for the school, which is progressing well and is now 90% complete. Once finished, it will address the accommodation issues faced by students on campus.β
