elon Musk is capable of anything. Even instilling fear. Because one of his latest statements has caused an impact. The tycoon has explained that it is possible that AI could cause human extermination, in the purest Skynet style… although it is not the most likely.

He revealed it in a recent conversation with Republican Senator Ted Cruz, on his podcast Verdict with Ted Cruz
Cruz asked Musk if Skynet is real, specifically about the chances of AI, in the role of Skynet, manufacturing and controlling killer robots that will annihilate humanity. And the Tesla and SpaceX CEO is clear: “About 20%, maybe 10%,” he explained.
After this, the host of the podcast asked him about the time frame in which this scenario could occur, to which he replied that it would be “between five and 10 years”.
In fact, Musk believes that the possibility of an AI apocalypse is real… although he qualified his words. “You can look at it as a glass that is 80 or 90% full,” he said, meaning that 80% of the time we will have extreme prosperity for all, in the sense that artificial intelligence will mean an improvement in living conditions.
