The family of four was all smiles
Just days after being spotted alongside soccer legend Lionel Messi at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, Patrick Mahomes swapped the turf for fairy tale magic as he and his family enjoyed a much-needed trip to Disneyland. The getaway was revealed by Mahomes’ wife, Brittany, in a series of joyful Instagram stories posted on April 4.

The family of four was all smiles as they posed against the whimsical backdrop of the park. Dressed for the sunshine, Brittany looked radiant in a simple black dress, while Patrick kept it casual in a white co-ord set with black patterns.
Their children, Sterling Skye and Patrick “Bronze” Lavon III, were also part of the family adventure-making the most of every Disney moment.
In addition to the classic Disney attractions, the Mahomes family also ventured into a safari experience, where Brittany captured a particularly hilarious and heartwarming memory: a giraffe poking its neck into the frame during a wild encounter.
She shared the moment on her Instagram story with the caption: “This was cool @patrickmahomes,” adding a lighthearted tone to their nature-filled detour.
While the public saw only snapshots of their magical family day, the trip represents much more than a vacation. For Mahomes, it’s a rare opportunity to slow down and spend intentional time with his most cherished people-especially after what has been an emotional rollercoaster of a year.
In January, the family welcomed their third child, daughter Golden Raye Mahomes. But just weeks later, tragedy struck when Patrick’s beloved grandfather, Randy Martin, passed away in February.
The weight of back-to-back life-changing events and a grueling NFL season made this break all the more important for the family to reconnect and breathe.
It’s no secret that Patrick Mahomes is fiercely devoted to his family. While his on-field accolades continue to grow, his off-field persona as a family man is just as admired.
He frequently gushes over his children in interviews and has often expressed how much fatherhood has changed his perspective on life and football.
