Nick Sirianni, the Eagles’ Head Coach, takes the attempt to stop the team’s signature play with a lot of humor.
The future of the Philadelphia Eagles’ emblematic play is in danger in a week where there is a meeting of NFL owners that will work to debate whether the famous “Tush Push” will continue or not.

Under this scenario has been the same Head Coach, Nick Sirianni, who has come out to comment on the situation where this play has been pointed out by senior leaders.
“We’ll see how it goes,” Sirianni commented this doningo for NFL Network’s Mike Garagolo. “All I’ll say on that is [Jonathan] Gannon, [Shane] Steichen and [Kellen] Moore better vote yes. They’re in the [head coaching] job right now because of that move. So all three of them, you better have those three votes right there and the Eagles vote. At least I know we have four.”
Gannon, Steichen and Moore were all on the Eagles staff before becoming head coaches in the NFL. Gannon took over as head coach of the Arizona Cardinals in 2023 after serving as Philadelphia’s defensive coordinator. That same year, Steichen became head coach of the Indianapolis Colts, following his role as Eagles offensive coordinator under Sirianni. More recently, the New Orleans Saints named Moore their head coach in February after he led Philadelphia’s offense last season.
A campaign in favor of the Tush Push
Nick Sirianni criticized the campaign to ban the play they have perfected and to which they owe much of their success, but now campaigns to take votes for it in a tongue-in-cheek, joking manner. Finally, he hopes his former collaborators will support him to continue to enjoy the “Tush Push”.
