Mahama Accuses Akufo-Addo/Bawumia Administration of Prioritizing Slogans Over Action

Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has criticized the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration for focusing more on slogans than on delivering tangible results over the past eight years.

Mahama accused the government of neglecting their promises to farmers, claiming they have failed to address the hardships facing the nation, including rising food prices and lack of development.

He emphasized that the NDC would take action to fulfill its promises if given the opportunity.

In a Facebook post, Mahama further accused the government of “criminally supervising the destruction of the economy,” and pointed to the frustrations expressed by members of the Western Regional House of Chiefs during a meeting in Sekondi.

He noted the lack of development and the deteriorating state of roads in the region, describing it as a stark contrast to the state of progress he had previously witnessed.

“This is not the Western Region I’ve been visiting,” Mahama said, adding that his agenda to Reset Ghana would benefit the region and improve infrastructure, lifting it out of stagnation.
