NDC shakes Accra with campaign walks

It was like any of the serious flood disasters in Accra on Sunday, when executives of National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ablekuma Central Constituency of Accra organized a campaign walk on Sunday morning. Starting from Sukura Trotro station, it flooded the dual carriage road of Flamingo through to First Light.

The overwhelming crowd continued matching along the stretches of Kaneshie, Abbossey Okai, Zonjo Junction and finally ended at the Town Council Line Park where leaders addressed party members.

This was under the leadership of Hon. Abdul Latin Dan, incumbent MP who is seeking re-election come December 7.

As if that was not enough, Ewurabena Aubyn, Parliamentary Candidate of adjoining Ablekuma North also led a similar walk that lasted about five hours in the evening.

The Ablekuma Central walk saw a former general secretary of the party, now director of 2024 Election Planning Committee, Dr. Peter Boamah Otokunor in attendance while Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi, National Communications Director graced that of Ablekuma North.

Before the above events, MP for Madina, Hon. Francis Xavier Sosu had held a similar walk caping it up with a mini rally at the forecourt of Pantang Psychiatric Hospital.

This one as well saw representatives from the party’s Greater Accra Regional secretariat as well as national attending. Also, a representative of running mate, Professor Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang.

The series of walk continue to be a talk of town as the umbrella family say this is a sign of victory on 7th December.
