The flag bearer of the upcoming 2024 general elections on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has labeled the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and its members to be surfing on a separate planet. JDM tried to justify his claim that even when the masses are up in tears owing to weak economic fundamentals, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s led administration says all’s well with the nation.

It was the turn of JDM to speak at the launch of NDC campaign for election 2024 at the Tamale Jubilee Park when he started by sharing the suffering of the Ghanaian in accessing basic commodities.

Mr. Mahama seem to be trending with his “I will lie to you” comment when he alluded to the fact that although were not all that groovy, under his leadership, the nation was making progress.
“I’ve been out of government for eight years now. I did my best, I wouldn’t say things were perfect but at least we were making progress. What I can promise you is that I will be truthful to you, I will never tell you lies, I will never tell you things I cannot do,” he hammered.
