Earlier today, the youth of Tepa were visibly enraged, expressing their anger over the actions of thugs who reportedly stormed the town yesterday. According to residents, the armed individuals threatened them with cutlasses, confiscated mobile phones, and even stripped some of their clothing, adding to the already tense post-election atmosphere.
The violence has brought business activities to a standstill, with shops closed out of fear of vandalism. Properties belonging to the NPP parliamentary candidate, Eric Nana Agyemang Prempeh, have been targeted in the unrest. His Toyota Land Cruiser and radio station, Cocoa FM were vandalized, with glass windows shattered.
Paramount chief of Tepa traditional area, Nana Adusei Atweroana has voiced his concerns, urging for a swift resolution to the crisis.

At the Tepa Senior High School collation center, burnt election materials tell a troubling story of post-election chaos. The housemistress of the school, Helen Baffoe, recounted the unsettling events , describing the fear and disorder caused by the unrest.
In response, the Tepa Hene, Nana Adusei Atwenewah Ampem I, convened a critical meeting with his elders earlier today to discuss measures to restore calm and stability in the community.
The situation remains tense, but authorities are hopeful that dialogue and enforcement will help bring peace to the town as military personnel have been deployed to restore peace in the community.
