World Vision Ghana, a non-governmental organisation has handed over a fully furnished 3-unit classroom block to the Diaso D/A Basic School in Diaso in the Upper Denkyira West District of the central region.
The project aims to promote education and make learning more attractive for pupils in the area.
The facility is fully furnished with furniture, teaching and learning materials, a restroom, bath, and toilet facility specifically designed for kindergarten pupils.
World Vision Ghana’s intervention is expected to improve the learning environment and enhance the academic performance of pupils in the community.

Speaking to our news team after the commissioned, Irvine Aboagye, Southern Regional Operations Manager for World Vision Ghana, emphasized the importance of education.
According to him, education is the foundation of every country, and preschool pupils should have a better foundation.
He stressed that education has no limit and urged parents to prioritize and invest in their children’s education.
He also called on the PTA, teachers, and education directorate to take proper care of the facility to ensure its sustainability.
Meanwhile, the District Director of Education for Upper Denkyira West, Frank Etrue Hayford, praised World Vision Ghana for their significant contributions to the growth of education in the area.
He said, World Vision Ghana has been a blessing to Denkyiraman. They have contributed significantly to the growth of education, including building schools, providing infrastructure, teaching and learning materials, unlocking literacy through phonics, and providing WASH materials, among others.
